Pastor Philip Herman is an ordained pastor with over 30 years of ministry experience.  He majored in social work at Taylor Univ., then received a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evan. Divinity School.  He spent 25 years in the northwest suburbs of Cook County in Chicago, IL, ministering to youth and families dealing with poverty, spiritual warfare, racial and cultural issues, educational disadvantages, broken families, and gang involvement.  Pastor Herman started an after-school mentoring and tutoring program that dealt with disadvantaged youth improving their academic standing and going on to earning college degrees.  He is passionate about racial reconciliation and justice, as well as helping lost people find hope and salvation in Jesus Christ.​
